SIXTH FORM BOARDING

Sixth Form Boarding

Whatever career path is chosen after the Sixth Form, it is important to be able to stand on your own two feet. The Sixth Form at the Royal Alexandra and Albert School will help that transition from pupil to independent adult.

Sixth Form boarders either live in Gatton Hall, the School's Grade ll listed stately home, or in purpose built annexes to senior boarding houses.  The annexes in Kent, Alexandra and Cornwall Houses have en-suite study bedrooms. In Gloucester House, students share a spacious bedroom with another pupil. All Houses have a Sixth Form Common Room and there are living areas that are shared with other year groups. Gatton Hall is exclusively for Sixth Form students, both boys and girls.

Boarding is ideal for students who are planning to go to university away from home as it teaches independence whilst still having the support from pastoral staff.
