GCSE Results

After two years of hard work, and months of not seeing one another, Year 11 pupils at the Royal Alexandra and Albert School were able to open their GCSE results. There were many relieved smiles and joyful moments throughout the morning as pupils celebrated a strong set of results.

Edward Andrews-Martin, a Flexi-Boarder at the school, was delighted as he opened his envelope to discover that he had achieved fantastic results. He said, “I’m very, very happy, and it’s great that we could come to collect our results and see our friends again.” Edward will stay at the School for Sixth Form to study A Levels in Politics, Maths and Computing.

Like Edward, Eleanor Bickell was at the school early to collect her results. She achieved outstanding grades with six 9s, three 8s, and two 7s! She was very happy with her results and will be progressing to study A Levels in Physics, Maths and Computing at the Royal Alexandra and Albert Sixth Form.

The School is proud of pupils’ hard work and their resilience throughout the year that led to so many individual success stories. This year’s results saw the School’s Progress 8 score increase once again, meaning that a child, whatever their ability, made well above expected progress.

Many pupils will be returning to the School for their A Levels and the School’s Sixth Form team looks forward to welcoming them. We wish all our Year 11 pupils our very best wishes with the next steps of their education.
