Sixth Form Move Up Day

Sixth Form move up day is always a day filled with excitement, as pupils experience a day together as Sixth Form students. No longer wearing school uniform, but instead business wear, students had a full day ahead of them.

It started in the Chapel, where new students and current Year 11s met for an introduction to their move up day. Students helped themselves to croissants, tea and coffee as they got to know their new friends and those they will be sharing their A Level experience with.

Then it was on to lessons, where students had the opportunity to try new subjects and meet their teachers and the Sixth Form team.

In what has become tradition, the day ended with a fun afternoon barbecue at the back of Sunley Sixth Form Centre, where much of students' independent study time will be spent over the next two years.

21 June 2019.
