Cambridge conversation

We were delighted to welcome Oscar Brown back to the School today. Oscar, who left after completing his A Levels last summer, came in to collect a prize as he had not been able to make the presentation on Founders’ Day in May.  In the morning assembly he was awarded the Connaught Medal for outstanding academic achievement after gaining 3A*s and an A at A Level last year.  Oscar is now at Queen’s College Cambridge reading Natural Sciences and is enjoying his time at university.

During his visit Oscar met the Headmaster and Sixth Form student, Bruno Banas.  The Headmaster arranged the meeting as Bruno is hoping to follow in Oscar’s footsteps by applying to read Natural Sciences at Cambridge University.  Oscar was happy to talk to Bruno about his life at the university and share some insights into the course.
