Oct 08 - Welsh adventure for Reigate pupils
Two pupils from the Royal Alexandra and Albert School had an action-packed weekend in the Brecon Beacons when they participated in a course run by HSBC. Year 11 pupils, Karim Nugent and Scott Budgen attended the event which was aimed at developing team work, communication skills and confidence.The weekend included orienteering, rock climbing and canoeing as well as a visit down a coal mine. Karim Nugent enjoyed the trip, “The best bit was the rock climbing”.
Headmaster Paul Spencer Ellis said “I am pleased that Scott and Karim were able to attend this very worthwhile weekend. They both benefited from being stretched by these demanding activities”.
