A Level Results

The 55 students at the Royal Alexandra and Albert School who received their A Level results today had good reason to celebrate. 61% of all results were graded A*-B, with a number of students getting exceptional grades:

Jacob Sayers will be going to University College London to study Medicine having obtained three A* and one A grade in his A Levels. Jacob was astonished with the grades he achieved. “I can’t believe it. I’m overwhelmed with my results. They are better than I thought they would be. I’m very pleased.”

Amy Fernando will also be attending University College London, to read Psychology. Amy achieved one A*, one A and one B for her A Levels. Clearly delighted with her results, Amy was beaming, “I got in to my first choice university so I couldn’t be happier – it’s what I really wanted.”

James Marks was another student who was over the moon. Having achieved 2 A*s and 2 As, James will be reading Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Surrey University. As he walked out with his results, James smiled shyly, “I’m really happy with my results. I got into Surrey University and I’m looking forward to my course.”

Headmaster Paul Spencer Ellis said “We are highly delighted with our results. Our students have worked hard throughout the two years and they and our staff have put in tremendous effort. It’s been a proud day for the School.”
