Jun 08 - Gold medal judo success for Charlotte
10 year old Charlotte Cogger, a pupil at the Royal Alexandra and Albert School achieved a Judo gold medal at the Surrey Youth Games. Charlotte, who has been doing judo for 3 years, beat three opponents to win the title for the -48 kilo weight in the age 8-11 age group.Charlotte said “I enjoy doing judo because it is unusual and fun. It was hard to beat the other three girls but I went for it and I even surprised myself!”
