Lucy Sets Personal Best - again!
***STOP PRESS*** @25th Feb. Lucy set two new personal best times at the England Athletics Indoor Championships at the weekend (23/24 Feb) in Birmingham. She won the 200m final with a time of 25.34s and came second in the 60m final with a time of 7.86s. She is now No 1 in the UK for these two events. 14 year old Lucy Hoad set a personal best time of 7.99 seconds for the 60m run at the London Games in Lee Valley last weekend. This puts her in the top 5 sprinters in the UK for her age group. Her next event is the England Indoor Championships on 23/24 February in Birmingham where she will be running in the 200m and the 60m. Lucy’s goal is to compete in the English Schools championship later this year.
