Teacher “The Dog Ate My Passport”
On Monday Year 11 pupils at the Royal Alexandra and Albert School will be going to the Annual Business Studies Conference at Disneyland Paris. Unfortunately, Business Studies teacher Lily Lawrence won’t be going with them. Her excuse for non-attendance is that the dog ate her passport. Miss Lawrence was preparing paperwork for the trip yesterday when she left the room briefly only to return and find that her 4 year old beagle, Finn had chewed her passport. The corner he had chewed included the passport number so the passport is unusable.
The school has had to find another staff member to go on the trip and Miss Lawrence will have to apply for a new passport. Miss Lawrence said “I wasn’t very pleased. People think this is his way of stopping me from leaving him for 3 days!”
