May 08 - Pupils scale new heights

Pupils at the Royal Alexandra and Albert School have been scaling new heights with the arrival of a climbing wall at their School. The High Sports Climbing Centre in Salfords generously loaned the climbing wall to the School so that more pupils could try out this exciting sport. The School, which is a designated Sports College, is hoping to offer climbing (at High Sports) to Year 10 and 11 pupils from September 2008.

Headmaster Paul Spencer Ellis said ‘We are keen to offer pupils a wide range of sporting opportunities so that everyone can participate in a sport they enjoy.’
