At the Royal Alexandra and Albert School, we offer all our students the opportunity to make the most of a boarding education. We believe that the types of places on offer best suit the needs of our students and their families. Whether you’re seeking full boarding for your child or are a local family requiring the flexibility and wrap-around care of Flexi Boarding, we have something to accommodate most family needs.

Full Boarding (Years 3-13)

For those seeking a complete boarding experience, our Full Boarding option provides a nurturing and supportive environment for students to thrive both academically and personally. Full boarders live at the school during term time and may return home at the weekends (after Saturday enrichment for Years 3-11). Learn more aboutFull Boarding here.

Flexi Boarding (Years 3-11)

Ideal for families seeking a blend of day provision with extended wrap-around child care and a boarding experience, Flexi Boarding allows our students to enjoy the benefits of boarding 7-10 nights per year while still returning home in the evening. Learn more about Flexi Boarding here.

Sixth Form Non-Boarding (Year 12 & 13)

Our Sixth Form Non-Boarding option offers students in the Sixth Form the opportunity to benefit from longer access to Sixth Form facilities and support from the Sixth Form team. Students can excel academically while maintaining their independence. Explore our Sixth Form offering here.
