Pastoral Support

We are proud of the forward thinking and effective approach we have to supporting students to thrive at the Royal Alexandra and Albert School. We strongly believe that effective pastoral care can only happen when we work in positive partnership with parents.

Pastoral care is led by our Achievement, Standards and Inclusion Team but delivered by all of our staff. Our colleagues are trained and supported to inculcate a culture of respect by calmly and consistently upholding standards. Our students are encouraged to set ambitious goals and supported to achieve them.

Policies

Student Services

Our Student Services department supports our students in Years 7 to 11. This service enables us to holistically look after the wellbeing of our students to a high standard. Student Services oversees attendance and punctuality, the triaging of student needs for low level medical concerns and uniform issues, amongst other concerns which may arise during the school day.

Students are able to access Student Services if they have a query, are feeling unwell or require practical support.
