Co-Curriculum

At the Royal Alexandra and Albert School, we believe that activities outside the classroom play a vital role in shaping the overall experience of our students. The wide range of activities available to our pupils is not viewed as merely “extra-curricular” but as an essential and integral part of their daily life. These activities are embedded into the school routine, enriching the academic programme and contributing to the personal development of each student.

We understand that a well-rounded education extends beyond textbooks, and it is through these activities that students develop key life skills such as teamwork, leadership, creativity and resilience. Whether it’s engaging in sports, participating in arts and drama, or developing new skills in clubs and societies, these activities allow students to explore their interests, pursue their passions and discover new talents.

From early mornings until the end of the school day, our students have the opportunity to engage in a variety of enriching experiences that complement their academic learning. These activities encourage students to be active, creative, and engaged, while also fostering a sense of community and belonging. They are designed to provide balance and promote well-being, allowing students to unwind, socialise, and recharge after a day of study.

At the Royal Alexandra and Albert School, we recognise that each student is unique, and their individual interests and passions are nurtured through these opportunities. With a broad selection of activities to choose from – over 100! – our students have the freedom to pursue what excites them, all while developing valuable life skills that will serve them well into the future.
