A Typical Day

A typical day for boarders is well-structured, balancing the academic day with co-curricular activities, scheduled prep time, and ample free time for relaxation.

Monday to Friday

6:45am – 7:00am Wake up
7:30 – 8:10 Breakfast
8:30 – 9:20 Period 1
9:25 – 10:15 Period 2
10:15 – 10:35 Break
10:35 – 11:25 Period 3
11:30 – 12:20 Period 4
12:20 – 13:50 Lunch / Tutor Time / Assembly
13:50 – 14:40 Period 5
14:45 – 15:35 Period 6
15:35 – 16:00 Return to Houses
16:00 – 17:00 Activities
17:00 – 18:30 Tea
18:30 – 19:30 Prep
19:30 – 20:30 Activities/sports/leisure time
20:30 Evening routine begins

Please note that the above timings may differ and depend on a child’s year group.

Saturday Morning

Saturday mornings are dedicated to our Enrichment Programme and are compulsory for all students  in Years 3-11 (both Full Boarders and Flexi Boarders). School begins at 09:00 and finishes at 11:10 for Junior students, and 11:30 for all Senior students. Sixth Formers are not required to attend the Saturday Enrichment Programme.
