Boarding
Flexi Boarding
At the Royal Alexandra and Albert School, we understand the demands of modern family life and strive to offer flexible options that cater to the diverse needs of our students and their families. Our Flexi Boarding system is designed to provide a balanced and enriching experience, combining the structure and support of boarding with the convenience of flexibility for parents.
Flexi Boarding is a flexible system designed to meet the needs of busy parents and enhance children’s educational experience. Unlike Full Boarders, Flexi Boarders stay for an extended day and return home in the evenings. Please note this is only offered for Years 3-11.
Flexi Boarders can take full advantage of everything included in the Flexi Boarding fees:
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner*
- Co-curricular activities
- 7-10 boarding nights per year
- Prep time
- Extended hours – students can stay from 7.30am until boarders in their Year Group go to bed
*Flexi Boarders are entitled to breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday to Friday, and breakfast on Saturdays. Any Flexi Boarding student who stays for lunch or later after Saturday morning school will be charged according to the applied rates. More information regarding our Dining Hall offering can be found here.
Fees
Our Flexi Boarding fees are designed to be transparent and straightforward. The fees at our school are, and will always be, for the boarding and wrap-around care we provide to our students. They include meals, boarding nights as mentioned above, the majority of co-curricular activities, access to our boarding houses before and after school, and the extended hours of stay. This ensures that students receive the support they need to excel in both their academics and personal development. We aim to provide a well-rounded experience that meets the diverse needs of busy families.
