At the Royal Alexandra and Albert School, our boarding houses are a home away from home where students thrive in a nurturing and supportive environment. Our dedicated Boarding team offers exceptional pastoral care, ensuring our students are well looked after. Here, students are part of a vibrant, close-knit community that fosters lifelong friendships and a sense of belonging.

Our boarding ethos is deeply rooted in the values of ambition, courage, integrity and respect. These principles guide every aspect of life in our boarding houses, helping students develop into well-rounded individuals. We believe in encouraging our Boarders and Flexi Boarders to work hard for their ambitions, face challenges with courage, act with integrity, and treat others with respect.

Within our boarding houses, students experience a blend of structure and freedom, allowing them to grow independently while always having the support and guidance they need during this crucial period of their lives. Our houses are designed to provide a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere where every student feels safe and valued. All our students are attached to a boarding house, whether they are Full Boarders or Flexi Boarders.
