The Royal Alexandra and Albert School runs two minibus services for journeys to school.

Redhill/Merstham

This service brings pupils to School from Merstham and Redhill.

  • There is a charge of £1.00 for each journey.
  • In order to be able to run this service we require parents to commit to all five weekdays for a whole term.
  • Payment for the minibus service should be made in advance at the beginning of term along with the term's fees.

*In Redhill the minibus will stop on London Road (outside the old Post Office/Prezzo's) at Stop L 'Special Departures'
Please note that the bus will leave promptly and will not wait for pupils who are late. Timings/pick ups etc might change in future, but parents will be informed if any changes are made.

If you would like to sign up for your child to use the minibus service please contact the School Office. Please note that places are limited so we can not guarantee a place to everyone who applies. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Banstead/Tadworth

This service will bring pupils to School in the morning and will stop at 4 locations along the A217.

  • There will be a charge of £1.50 for each journey
  • In order to be able to run this service we require parents to commit to all five weekdays for a whole term.
  • The minibus service will only run if there is enough interest.
  • Payment for the minibus service should be made in advance at the beginning of term along with the term’s fees.

The timings are approximate and will depend on traffic but the bus will not leave earlier than the time stated. Please note that the bus will leave promptly and will not wait for pupils who are late.
We might review timings/pick ups etc in future, but parents will be informed if any changes are made.

Coulsdon/Caterham

We are planning to introduce a new minibus service for Coulsdon/Caterham from September 2011. This service will bring pupils to School in the morning and will stop at 3 locations.  Please note that this service is not available on Saturday mornings.

There will be a charge of £1.50 for each journey
