Bishop of Southwark and Junior
Prize Giving
The Bishop of Southwark joined celebrations
to mark the actual day of the 250th anniversary
of the foundation of the School on 10th May 1758.
At the Junior Prize Giving Service the Head of
the Junior Department gave a report on the year's
achievements. This report was followed by an address
from the Headmaster and an address from the visiting
speaker, the Bishop of Southwark. The Bishop and
Headmaster then presented prizes to pupils from
the Junior Department.
After the Service visitors were
invited to view the art exhibition in Gatton Hall
or see the Scouting activities display, prior
to having lunch in the Dining Hall. After lunch
there was a dance display in the Performing Arts
Centre.
